Sherwood Cottage

The rooms are ok not bad at all. But until we reach the place the owner lady was too good and it was a night time. We requested her for the morning tea and we said that we can even pay for the tea and she agreed too. From 7 a.m to 10 a.m we kept calling but her line was busy for too long. And when my husband went to meet her she said she's on a call with her daughter and we had to stay for another 1 hour. It was a very cold rainy morning and we had to beg for a tea from 7 to 11. And then we got ready and vacated the place she was not even pleased. Bad hospitality highly not recommended. A worst old lady just running this businesses for that instant money.

This is the worst place that i have stayed to date. Nothing wrong with the place. But the lady who owned this place is a total mess. We booked this place in the morning and reached the place in the evening. Only one room was booked at the time. We asked for top two rooms and she said yes. Two minutes later another guest who hadn’t book a room earlier, came and suddenly she said only one room can give from the top two rooms. 😤 So our first impression with the lady was horrible. After few minutes the other guest left and then she said you can get the top two rooms🫠 What a customer service 🤬 As it was already getting dark and we had no time to search for another hotel we stayed there. Rooms are not very specious. But clean and good. Hot water available. You have to ask for a kettle if you want hot water😅And the other lady “Fauzia” will be at your service but you have to beg for it. Sorry to say this but i still feel that awkward moments we had to face. Simply , strictly not recommended. Don’t get ruined your happy faces with these arrogant people.

The view is the main upside of this place. Host could hardly communicate in English so if one needs help with arrangements it’s basically on its own. She also tried charging me more than on the official booking. Wifi in common area only which was most of the time locked and unavailable. No one at the property that could assist guests, it gave a deserted and unwelcoming feel. No mention that the main gate is locked for the night. No power generator which provides electricity in case of a power cut (which actually happened during my stay) meaning one is left with a candle overnight.
